Google analytics is a web analytics service offered by google that tracks and reports website traffic. It is introduced in 2005, it is now a widely used web analytic service. Google analytics is a helping tool to as it helps as to measure and improve our website.it deals with your visitors, user’s activity, dwell time metrics, incoming search terms, etc. Google analytic tracking code, which is a snippet of JavaScript code that the website owner adds to every page of the website. The tracking code runs the browser when the user browses the page.
Analytics is a powerful application for tracking traffic patterns on your website. Here is explain bout the key features, map overlay is used to understand where the visitors are coming from. Browser key shows the browser of the visitor used to check your site. Visitor’s loyalty shows the revisits on your site. Length of visit shows the spending time on your site.
There were mainly four types of visits;
• Direct visit
• Natural visit or organic visit
• Referral visit
• Social media visit
How to do Google Analytics: the Steps
• Sign in to the google analytic account using url www.google.com/analytics
• Click sign in button and login with your gmail id.
• Then add name, website name, blogs url, add a categeory.
• Then click reporting time zone.
• Click the tracking id.
• After clicking this id you can see a button I accept, click here.
• Copy the tracking id.
• Back to our blog.
• Go to settings.
• Click other.
• Paste the copied id.
• Click save settings.
• Back to analytics, select and copy the website tracking code.
• Then back to blogger click theme select edit html.
• Before the header tag closing paste the tracking code.
• Click save theme button.
• Again back to analytics, select all website data.
• In the opened widow we can see another option all website data, click here.
• Press the arrow button seen left side.
• Select real time. Then click over view. Here you can see your blogs analytical data.
